Eagle Communicator

Effective 23 July 2026

Privacy policy

This policy explains what Eagle Communicator handles, why it is needed, and the controls available to you.
Plain-language summary: Eagle Communicator uses account and communication data to provide messaging, invitations, groups, forms and calls. Supported translation and voice work is local when the required model is available. The app does not sell personal data or show advertising.

Who operates Eagle Communicator

Eagle Communicator is operated by the DW-RIL Team. Privacy and support requests can be sent to rs.prabhakar@gmail.com.

Data we handle

Account and profile

Email address, display name, unique nickname, international phone number, preferred languages, region or area, profile photo, account role and account status.

Contacts and invitations

If you grant Contacts permission, the app reads phone numbers from your device to help identify known Eagle Communicator users. Contact matching and private invitations are used instead of exposing an unrestricted user directory.

Messages and collaboration

Messages, reactions, delivery and read state, group membership, invitation state, forms, polls, quizzes, form responses, pinned items, call-history events and user-generated status content are stored so participants can use those features across devices.

Media and files

Photos, voice notes and files you choose to send are uploaded for delivery. The app marks ordinary uploaded message media to expire online after seven days. Cleanup of expired storage objects is an operational process; recipients may retain copies they downloaded to their devices.

Location

Location is accessed only after permission and when you choose a location-sharing feature. A shared location becomes part of the conversation and can be opened in a compatible maps app.

Camera, microphone and calls

Camera and microphone access support voice notes, speech recognition, voice and video calls, and selected translation features. Call signaling and call-history metadata may pass through the service. Live audio and video normally travel through WebRTC peer-to-peer paths or a relay when direct connection is unavailable.

Diagnostics

Translation diagnostics can include app version, device model, Android version, model route, language pair, timing and outcome. They do not include message text or recorded audio. Local diagnostic events are kept for up to seven days and are shared with support only when you choose to attach them.

How data is used

Translation and voice processing

Downloaded translation models, Android speech services and supported neural voice resources can process content on the device. Some optional fallback routes may require a network connection. Eagle Communicator keeps the original message visible when a translation is unavailable so a failed model does not silently replace the source.

A consented reference voice is stored in the app's protected local storage and is not uploaded by the voice-profile feature.

Service providers

Managed backend functions currently use Supabase for authentication, database, realtime coordination and storage. Google Play distributes Android builds, and supported Android language or speech components may be provided by the device vendor or Google. Network relay providers may carry encrypted WebRTC traffic when a direct call cannot connect.

Sharing and visibility

Conversation content is visible to its participants. Group names and discoverable group information can be shown to users searching for a group, while membership requests require the configured admin flow. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data when required by applicable law or to address fraud, abuse or security incidents.

Retention

Account and conversation records remain while the account or shared conversation is active, unless deleted under an applicable request or operational retention rule. Uploaded message media is marked for seven-day online expiry. Support diagnostics are limited to seven days on the device. Security, legal or backup records may be retained for a limited period where necessary.

Your controls

Security

The service uses authenticated sessions, database row-level access controls, scoped storage access and transport encryption. No internet service can promise absolute security; users should report suspicious activity promptly.

Children

Eagle Communicator is intended for workplace and adult international communication and is not directed to children. The planned Google Play target audience is adults aged 18 and over.

Changes

Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies from that date.
